One feathered bird entered the ocean; he pervaded this world and the realms. With mind‑sight they observed him; be mother, be gentle—do not be harsh, O mother.
One of the birds has entered the firmament; he contemplates this whole world; with mind mature Ibeheld him night at hand; him the mother licks, he licks themother.
One of these Birds hath passed into the sea of air: thence he looks round and views this universal world. With simple heart I have beheld him from anear: his Mother kisses him and he returns her kiss.
