All the gods, stirring the strength, increased the Soma-drinking; Indra’s might slew Vṛtra, and Agni with loudness invoked the offering with mighty libations.
Then all the gods magnified your exploits with praise, accompanied with libations of Soma; (andpeople) quickly devoured Vṛtra, the obstructer of water, wounded by Indra's slaughtering (weapon), as Agnidevours food with his teeth.
Then all the Gods extolled, with eloquence inspired by draughts of Soma juice, thy deeds of manly might. As Agni eats the dry food with his tcetlv, he ate Vrtra, the Dragon, maimed by Indra's deadly dart.
