नि षु सी॑द गणपते ग॒णेषु॒ त्वामा॑हु॒र्विप्र॑तमं कवी॒नाम् । न ऋ॒ते त्वत्क्रि॑यते॒ किं च॒नारे म॒हाम॒र्कं म॑घवञ्चि॒त्रम॑र्च
ni ṣu sīda gaṇapate gaṇeṣu tvāmāhurvipratamaṃ kavīnām na ṛte tvatkriyate kiṃ canāre mahāmarkaṃ maghavañcitramarca
In the assemblies sit thou, leader of poets; they call you foremost among seers. Nothing is done rightly without you—what then of the great sun, the wondrous worship?
Lord of the companies (of the Maruts), sit down among the companies (of the worshippers), they callyou the most sage of sages; without you nothing is done in the distance; have in honour, Maghavan, our greatand various adoration. of wealth, (the wishes of) your friends; make war (for us), you warrior endowed with real strength, give us a sharein the undivided riches.
Lord of the hosts, amid our bands be seated: they call thee greatest Sage among the sages. Nothing is done, even far away, without thee: great, wondrous, Maghavan, is the hymn I sing thee.
