वि हि त्वामि॑न्द्र पुरु॒धा जना॑सो हि॒तप्र॑यसो वृषभ॒ ह्वय॑न्ते । अ॒स्माकं॑ ते॒ मधु॑मत्तमानी॒मा भु॑व॒न्सव॑ना॒ तेषु॑ हर्य
vi hi tvāmindra purudhā janāso hitaprayaso vṛṣabha hvayante asmākaṃ te madhumattamānīmā bhuvansavanā teṣu harya
Indeed I praise you, Indra, lord of the many peoples; bulls call you for welfare and benefit. Our sweetest ones, made drunk by you, may they be taken—make them joyous in offerings.
Indra, showerer of benefits, men in several plural ces, offering acceptable food, invoke you; these oursacrifices to you are most full of the sweet (Soma); take plural asure in them.
From many a side with proffered entertainment the folk are calling thee, O Mighty Indra. These our libations shall for thee be richest in sweet meath: dvink thereof and find them pleasant.
