vyacasvatīrurviyā vi śrayantāṃ patibhyo na janayaḥ śumbhamānāḥ devīrdvāro bṛhatīrviśvaminvā devebhyo bhavata suprāyaṇāḥ
Let the twofold waters flow across the open ways; may they favour the lords and not give birth to arrogance. The goddess of the door, great and widespread, may she be for the gods at their prosperous departure.
Expanding wide, let the doors give access as gracefully decorated wives give access to theirhusbands, divine doors, spacious and admitting all, be easy of entry for the gods.
Let the expansive Doors be widely opened, like wives who deck their beauty for their husbands. Lofty, celestial, all-impelling Portals, admit the Gods and give them easy entrance.
