अध॒ त्यं द्र॒प्सं वि॒भ्वं॑ विचक्ष॒णं विराभ॑रदिषि॒तः श्ये॒नो अ॑ध्व॒रे । यदी॒ विशो॑ वृ॒णते॑ द॒स्ममार्या॑ अ॒ग्निं होता॑र॒मध॒ धीर॑जायत
adha tyaṃ drapsaṃ vibhvaṃ vicakṣaṇaṃ virābharadiṣitaḥ śyeno adhvare yadī viśo vṛṇate dasmamāryā agniṃ hotāramadha dhīrajāyata
He revealed the dripping, the splendour, the eye that looked down, the hawk that bore strength forward; if he selected Agni, the oblation-receiver, from all, then courage was born in him.
The hawk sent (by Agni) to the sacrifice has brought the dripping copious all-seeing (Soma) libatioṇWhen the Arya people choose the victorious Agni as the ministrant priest, then the sacred rite is celebrateḍ
And the fleet Falcon brought for sacrifice from afar this flowing Drop most excellent and keen of sight, Then when the Aryan tribes chose as Invoking Priest Agni the Wonder-Worker, and the hymn rose up.
