सृ॒ण्ये॑व ज॒र्भरी॑ तु॒र्फरी॑तू नैतो॒शेव॑ तु॒र्फरी॑ पर्फ॒रीका॑ । उ॒द॒न्य॒जेव॒ जेम॑ना मदे॒रू ता मे॑ ज॒राय्व॒जरं॑ म॒रायु॑
sṛṇyeva jarbharī turpharītū naitośeva turpharī parpharīkā udanyajeva jemanā maderū tā me jarāyvajaraṃ marāyu
Like a nest the seed-bearing one in fertile fields; not this mere service—these are the offspring of the turf’s spread. In the sky the joyous ones with strength, from me the old ones yield vigorous men.
You are like two mad elephants bending their forequarters and smiting the foe, like the two sons ofare victorious, (render) my decaying mortal body free from decay.
You are like two mad elephants bending their forequarters and smiting the foe, like the two sons of Nitosa destroying (foes), and cherishing (friends); you are bright as two water-born (jewels), do you, who are victorious, (render) my decaying mortal body free from decay.
