Whether a hundredfold, O Sun's friend, thus for you this is Mitra, thus is Varuna. Whether when one kills a son of the enemy or when one slays the enemy’s calf—
When, you, mighty (Indra, gave) hundredfold (riches), Sumitra praised you thus, Durmitra praised youthus, when at the slaughter of the Dasyus you did protect Kutsa's son, when at the slaughter of the Dasyus youprotected Kutsa's darling.
As hundreds, O Immortal God, have sung to thee, so hath Sumitra, yea, Durmitra praised thee here, What time thou holpest Kutsa's son, when Dasyus fell, yea, holpest Kutsa's darling when the Dasyus died.
