स इषु॑हस्तैः॒ स नि॑ष॒ङ्गिभि॑र्व॒शी संस्र॑ष्टा॒ स युध॒ इन्द्रो॑ ग॒णेन॑ । सं॒सृ॒ष्ट॒जित्सो॑म॒पा बा॑हुश॒र्ध्यु१॒॑ग्रध॑न्वा॒ प्रति॑हिताभि॒रस्ता॑
sa iṣuhastaiḥ sa niṣaṅgibhirvaśī saṃsraṣṭā sa yudha indro gaṇena saṃsṛṣṭajitsomapā bāhuśardhyu1gradhanvā pratihitābhirastā
He, with shield-bearing spear-men, loosened binding cords; Indra fought with his band. With Soma's victorious strength were the born-heroes created; strong-armed bowmen, earnest in purpose.
Indra, with the arrow-bearing (maruts), armed with swords, the subduer, the warrior, who encountershim, the drinker of the Soma, the strong- armed, having a powerful bow, who shoots with well-aimed arrows(conquer with his help).
He rules with those who carry shafts and quivers, Indra who with his band rings hosts together, Foe-conquering, strong of arm, the Soma-drinker, with mighty bow, shooting with well-laid arrows.
