सं॒क्रन्द॑नेनानिमि॒षेण॑ जि॒ष्णुना॑ युत्का॒रेण॑ दुश्च्यव॒नेन॑ धृ॒ष्णुना॑ । तदिन्द्रे॑ण जयत॒ तत्स॑हध्वं॒ युधो॑ नर॒ इषु॑हस्तेन॒ वृष्णा॑
saṃkrandanenānimiṣeṇa jiṣṇunā yutkāreṇa duścyavanena dhṛṣṇunā tadindreṇa jayata tatsahadhvaṃ yudho nara iṣuhastena vṛṣṇā
With a single cry and blink, the valiant one, with loud acclaim and with fierce onslaught, subdued the evil foe. By Indra was that victory won; together with him the men fought, the host bearing shields.
With Indra the loud-shouting, the vigilant, the vigtorious, the warlike, the unconquerable, the daring,the hurler of arrows, the showerer, (as your ally) conquer you warriors, you leaders, that (hostile host) andovercome it.
With him loud-roaring, ever watchful, Victor, bold, hard to overthrow, Rouser of battle, Indra. the Strong, whose hand bears arrows, conquer, ye warriors, now, now vanquish in the combat.
