उद्ध॑र्षय मघव॒न्नायु॑धा॒न्युत्सत्व॑नां माम॒कानां॒ मनां॑सि । उद्वृ॑त्रहन्वा॒जिनां॒ वाजि॑ना॒न्युद्रथा॑नां॒ जय॑तां यन्तु॒ घोषाः॑
uddharṣaya maghavannāyudhānyutsatvanāṃ māmakānāṃ manāṃsi udvṛtrahanvājināṃ vājinānyudrathānāṃ jayatāṃ yantu ghoṣāḥ
Raise the spoils, the splendid wealth, O wielder of life, in the minds of my kin. May the shouts and songs of the slayers of Vritra, of the champions who rush with steeds and weapons, come and attain victory.
Excite, Maghavan, my weapons, (excite) the spirits of my heroes; slayer of Vṛtra, let the speed of thehorses be accelerated, let the noises of the chariots be increased.
Bristle thou up, O Maghavan, our weapons: excite the spirits of my warring heroes. Urge on the strong steeds' might, O Vrtra-slayer, and let the din of conquering cars go upward.
