आ॒शुः शिशा॑नो वृष॒भो न भी॒मो घ॑नाघ॒नः क्षोभ॑णश्चर्षणी॒नाम् । सं॒क्रन्द॑नोऽनिमि॒ष ए॑कवी॒रः श॒तं सेना॑ अजयत्सा॒कमिन्द्रः॑
āśuḥ śiśāno vṛṣabho na bhīmo ghanāghanaḥ kṣobhaṇaścarṣaṇīnām saṃkrandano'nimiṣa ekavīraḥ śataṃ senā ajayatsākamindraḥ
Swift of lustre, the bull Shishana, not fearful, thunderous and convulsing, hated the tramplers. With a single blink the heroic breaker of hosts crushed a hundred armies—Indra, victor with his comrades.
The fleet-going Indra, like a formidable bull sharpening (his horns), the slayer of foes, the exciter ofmen, loud-shouting, ever-vigilant, the chief of heroes overthrew at once a hundred hosts.
SWIFT, rapidly striking, like a bull who sharpens his horns, terrific, stirring up the people, With eyes that close not, bellowing, Sole Hero, Indra. subdued at once a hundred armies.
