Unite the seed-bearing channels as couples; stretch forth the joined wombs — here the germ of procreation. Speech and heard utterance, full assembly, are present; bring forth ripeness by these ordinances.
Harness the plural ughs, fit on the yokes, now that the womb of earth is ready, sow the seed therein, andthrough our praise may there be abundant food; may (the grain) fall ripe towards the sickle.
Lay on the yokes, and fasten well the traces: formed is the furrow, sow the seed within it. Through song may we find bearing fraught with plenty: near to the ripened grain approach the sickle.
