कपृ॑न्नरः कपृ॒थमुद्द॑धातन चो॒दय॑त खु॒दत॒ वाज॑सातये । नि॒ष्टि॒ग्र्यः॑ पु॒त्रमा च्या॑वयो॒तय॒ इन्द्रं॑ स॒बाध॑ इ॒ह सोम॑पीतये
kapṛnnaraḥ kapṛthamuddadhātana codayata khudata vājasātaye niṣṭigryaḥ putramā cyāvayotaya indraṃ sabādha iha somapītaye
The needy man raised the oxen and urged them on, inciting by the strength of the oblation. The vigorous bulls and the offspring-yielding ones invoked Indra for Soma to be drunk here.
Indra, you leaders, is the giver of happiness; excite the giver of happiness, stimulate him, sport withhim for the acquisition of food, bring down here, O priests, Indra, the son of Niṣṭigrī, to drink the Soma.
Indra is he, O men, who gives us happiness: sport, urge the giver of delight to win us strength Bring quickly down, O priests, hither to give us aid, to drink the Soma, Indra Son of Nistigri.
