इन्द्र॒ दृह्य॑ मघव॒न्त्वाव॒दिद्भु॒ज इ॒ह स्तु॒तः सु॑त॒पा बो॑धि नो वृ॒धे । दे॒वेभि॑र्नः सवि॒ता प्राव॑तु श्रु॒तमा स॒र्वता॑ति॒मदि॑तिं वृणीमहे
indra dṛhya maghavantvāvadidbhuja iha stutaḥ sutapā bodhi no vṛdhe devebhirnaḥ savitā prāvatu śrutamā sarvatātimaditiṃ vṛṇīmahe
Indra, grant greatness and riches; with the arm of praise here bind and awaken us, O generous sage. May the Savitar among the gods come forward to us; we choose the all-embracing, lofty light of Aditi.
Consume, afluent Indra, (the foe that is) like you (in might); praised on this occasion, do you who arethe drinker of the libation be favourable to our advancement. May Savitā, with the gods, defend our sacrifice;we long for the universal Aditi.
Be, like thyself, O Indra, strong for our delight: here lauded, aid us, Maghavan, drinker of the juice. Savitar with the Gods protect us: hear ye Twain. We ask for freedom and complete felicity.
