उ॒शन्ति॑ घा॒ ते अ॒मृता॑स ए॒तदेक॑स्य चित्त्य॒जसं॒ मर्त्य॑स्य । नि ते॒ मनो॒ मन॑सि धाय्य॒स्मे जन्युः॒ पति॑स्त॒न्व१॒॑मा वि॑विश्याः
uśanti ghā te amṛtāsa etadekasya cittyajasaṃ martyasya ni te mano manasi dhāyyasme janyuḥ patistanva1mā viviśyāḥ
They drank immortal draughts; this one abandoned the mortal’s heart. May your mind dwell in me; rulers and lords entered me and made me strong.
(Yami speaks). The immortals take plural asure in (a union) like this which is forbidden to every mortal; letyour mind then concur with mine, and as the progenitor (of all) was the husband (of his daughter), do you enjoymy person n.
Yea, this the Immortals seek of thee with longing, progeny of the sole existing mortal. Then let thy soul and mine be knit together, and as a loving husband take thy consort.
