He was born, O Agni, as the womb of the vibrant one, adorned among herbs; a wonderful child circled his darkness—do not give him from mothers to others.
When born, you, O Agni, are the embryo of heaven and earth, beautiful, borne about in the plural nts;variegated, infantine, you disperse the noctural glooms; you issue roaring loudly from the maternal (sources).
Thou, being born, art Child of Earth and Heaven, parted among the plants in beauty, Agni! The glooms of night thou, Brilliant Babe, subduest, and art come forth, loud roaring, from thy Mothers.
