पृ॒ष्टो दि॒वि पृ॒ष्टो अ॒ग्निः पृ॑थि॒व्यां पृ॒ष्टो विश्वा॒ ओष॑धी॒रा वि॑वेश । वै॒श्वा॒न॒रः सह॑सा पृ॒ष्टो अ॒ग्निः स नो॒ दिवा॒ स रि॒षः पा॑तु॒ नक्त॑म्
pṛṣṭo divi pṛṣṭo agniḥ pṛthivyāṃ pṛṣṭo viśvā oṣadhīrā viveśa vaiśvānaraḥ sahasā pṛṣṭo agniḥ sa no divā sa riṣaḥ pātu naktam
He pressed upon the sky, he pressed upon Agni, he pressed upon the earth; he pressed into all the herbs. Viśvānaṟa pressed Agni suddenly—may he protect us by day and the seer by night.
Agni, who is present in the sky, and present upon earth, and who, present, has pervaded all herbs; may the Agni Vaiśvānara, who is present in vigour, guard us night and day, against our enemies
Present in heaven, in earth, all-present Agni,-all plants that grow on ground hath he pervaded. May Agni, may Vaisvanara with vigour, present, preserve us day and night from foemen.
