क इ॒मं वो॑ नि॒ण्यमा चि॑केत व॒त्सो मा॒तॄर्ज॑नयत स्व॒धाभिः॑ । ब॒ह्वी॒नां गर्भो॑ अ॒पसा॑मु॒पस्था॑न्म॒हान्क॒विर्निश्च॑रति स्व॒धावा॑न्
ka imaṃ vo niṇyamā ciketa vatso mātṝrjanayata svadhābhiḥ bahvīnāṃ garbho apasāmupasthānmahānkavirniścarati svadhāvān
Who among you knows this, O mothers, who produced from the sacrificial fires? Many wombs were established in the waters; the great seer stipulated and remained devoted to the oblations.
Which of you discerns the hidden Agni? a son, he begets his mothers by oblations; the germ of many (waters), he issues from the ocrean, mighty and wise, the recipient of oblations.
Who of you knows this secret One? The Infant by his own nature hath brought forth his Mothers. The germ of many, from the waters' bosom he goes forth, wise and great, of Godlike nature.
