When the people’s red dawn arose, the radiant ones shone vainly; they themselves did not win youth. The unblamed ones, like wind, went before, the shining ones breathing forth the radiant beam.

Their purple rays have readily shot upwards; they have yoked the easily-yoked and ruddy kine (to their car); the deities of the dawn have restored, as of yore, the consciousness (of sentient creatures), and bright-rayed have attended upon the glorious sun.

Readily have the purple beams of light shot up; the Red Cows have they harnessed, easy to be yoked. The Dawns have brought distinct perception as before: red-hued, they have attained their fulgent brilliancy.
