You are these herbs, O Soma, you are all the waters, you are the cows. You are the subtle ether of the space; you are the lights that dispel the darkness.
You, Soma, have genitive rated all these herbs, the water and the kine; you have spread out the spacious firmament; you have scattered darkness with light.
These herbs, these milch-kine, and these running waters, all these, O Soma, thou hast generated. The spacious firmament bast thou expanded, and with the light thou hast dispelled the darkness.
