सोमो॑ धे॒नुं सोमो॒ अर्व॑न्तमा॒शुं सोमो॑ वी॒रं क॑र्म॒ण्यं॑ ददाति । सा॒द॒न्यं॑ विद॒थ्यं॑ स॒भेयं॑ पितृ॒श्रव॑णं॒ यो ददा॑शदस्मै
somo dhenuṃ somo arvantamāśuṃ somo vīraṃ karmaṇyaṃ dadāti sādanyaṃ vidathyaṃ sabheyaṃ pitṛśravaṇaṃ yo dadāśadasmai
Soma gives the kine, Soma gives the flowing wealth, Soma gives heroic deeds of action. He gave victory, fame among assemblies, and earsthearing to the sire who granted this.
To him who present (offerings), Soma gives a cow, a swift horse, and a son who is able in affairs, skilful in domestic concerns, assiduous in worship, eminent in society, and who is an honour to his father.
To him who worships Soma gives the milchcow, a fleet steed and a man of active knowledge, Skilled in home duties, meet for holy synod, for council meet, a glory to his father.
