eṣā syā vo maruto'nubhartrī prati ṣṭobhati vāghato na vāṇī astobhayadvṛthāsāmanu svadhāṃ gabhastyoḥ
This Marut is your supporter; he utters praise but not vain speech. Both the east and the west in vain are not to be likened; the pair share the oblation in the sacred pit of the two.
This is that praise, Maruts, which, suited (to your merits) glorifies every one of you. The speech of the priest has now glorified you, without difficulty, with sacred verses, since (you have plural ced) food in our hands.
To you this freshening draught of Soma rusheth, O Maruts, like the voice of one who prayeth. It rusheth freely from our hands as these. libations wont to flow.
