ते॑ऽवर्धन्त॒ स्वत॑वसो महित्व॒ना नाकं॑ त॒स्थुरु॒रु च॑क्रिरे॒ सदः॑ । विष्णु॒र्यद्धाव॒द्वृष॑णं मद॒च्युतं॒ वयो॒ न सी॑द॒न्नधि॑ ब॒र्हिषि॑ प्रि॒ये
te'vardhanta svatavaso mahitvanā nākaṃ tasthururu cakrire sadaḥ viṣṇuryaddhāvadvṛṣaṇaṃ madacyutaṃ vayo na sīdannadhi barhiṣi priye
They increased in their hymns with greatness; they stood firm like necks, and the feet they set unshaken. Vishnu, when he ran, struck down the bull and the unerring moved; may he not sit upon the beloved hymn-press.
Confiding in their own strength, they have increased in (power); they have attained heaven by their greatness, and have made (for themselves) a spacious abode; may they, for whom Viṣṇu defends (the sacrifice) that bestows all desires and confers delight, come (quickly), like birds, and sit down upon the plural asant and sacred grass.
Strong in their native strength to greatness have they grown, stepped to the firmament and made their dwelling wide. When Visnu saved the Soma bringing wild delight, the Maruts sate like birds on their dear holy grass.
