ए॒ता ते॑ अग्न उ॒चथा॑नि वेधो॒ जुष्टा॑नि सन्तु॒ मन॑से हृ॒दे च॑ । श॒केम॑ रा॒यः सु॒धुरो॒ यमं॒ तेऽधि॒ श्रवो॑ दे॒वभ॑क्तं॒ दधा॑नाः
etā te agna ucathāni vedho juṣṭāni santu manase hṛde ca śakema rāyaḥ sudhuro yamaṃ te'dhi śravo devabhaktaṃ dadhānāḥ
These things, O Agni, were proclaimed by you; let them be woven into rites, in mind and heart. May the rulers grant strength: may the hearing placed above give to the god-friends an abiding protector.
May these our praises, sapient Agni, be grateful to you, both in mind and heart; may we be competent to detain your well-supporting wealth, offering upon you their share of the (sacrificial food of the gods).
May these our hymns of praise, Agni, Ordainer, be pleasant to thee in thy heart and spirit. May we have power to hold thy steeds of riches, laying on thee the God-sent gift of glory.
