प्र नू स मर्तः॒ शव॑सा॒ जना॒ँ अति॑ त॒स्थौ व॑ ऊ॒ती म॑रुतो॒ यमाव॑त । अर्व॑द्भि॒र्वाजं॑ भरते॒ धना॒ नृभि॑रा॒पृच्छ्यं॒ क्रतु॒मा क्षे॑ति॒ पुष्य॑ति
pra nū sa martaḥ śavasā janām̐ ati tasthau va ūtī maruto yamāvata arvadbhirvājaṃ bharate dhanā nṛbhirāpṛcchyaṃ kratumā kṣeti puṣyati
He, moved by the hymn, came with living vigor; the Maruts sprang up, the prize distributed: they filled the wealth of men and searched out the mighty acts — may power reach completion and prosperity.
The man whom, Maruts, you defend with your protection, quickly surpasses all men in strength; with his horses he acquires food, and with his men, riches; he performs the required worship, and he prospers.
Maruts, the man whom ye have guarded with your help, he verily in strength surpasseth all mankind. Spoil with his steeds he gaineth, treasure with his men; he winneth honourable strength and prospereth.
