The all-knowing with glories, equal in might, mingled their powers; the darting, venomous ones dwelt apart. They set the flat-ones in the vats; men with bull-like strength and effulgence stood by the steeds.
The Maruts, who are all-knowing, co-dwellers with wealth, combined with strength, loud-sounding, repellers of foes, of infinite prowess, whose weapon (of offence) is Indra, and who are leaders (of men), hold in their hands the shaft.
Lords of all riches, dwelling in the home of wealth, endowed with mighty vigour, singers loud of voice, Heroes, of powers infinite, armed with strong men's rings, the archers, they have laid the arrow on their arms.
