vṛṣṇe śardhāya sumakhāya vedhase nodhaḥ suvṛktiṃ pra bharā marudbhyaḥ apo na dhīro manasā suhastyo giraḥ samañje vidatheṣvābhuvaḥ
To Vrishṇi, to Shardha, the kindly‑faced, to Vedhas, to the bounteous—be abundant gifts brought, O Maruts. Waters and the wise in mind, with skillful hand and voice, came together in the assemblies of inspired seers.
Offer, Nodhas, earnest praise to the company of the Maruts, the senders of rain and ripeners of fruit, deserving of adoration. Composed, and with folded hands, I utter the praises conceived in my mind, which are efficacious in sacred rites, (and flow rreadily) as the waters.
BRING for the manly host, wise and majestical, O Nodhas, for the Maruts bring thou a pure gift.
