I made friendship, the dream-subduer son held the breath, the beautiful floods. In the months may you place ripe within: milk, dark oxen, herds of cattle.
The son of strength assiduous in good works, diligent in pious acts, retains his ancient friendship (for his votary). You, (Indra), provide within the yet immature cows, whether black or red, the mature and glossy milk.
Rich in good actions, skilled in operation, the Son with might maintains his perfect friendship. Thou in the raw cows, black of hue or ruddy, storest the ripe milk glossy white in colour.
