इन्द्र॒स्याङ्गि॑रसां चे॒ष्टौ वि॒दत्स॒रमा॒ तन॑याय धा॒सिम् । बृह॒स्पति॑र्भि॒नदद्रिं॑ वि॒दद्गाः समु॒स्रिया॑भिर्वावशन्त॒ नरः॑
indrasyāṅgirasāṃ ceṣṭau vidatsaramā tanayāya dhāsim bṛhaspatirbhinadadriṃ vidadgāḥ samusriyābhirvāvaśanta naraḥ
Of Indra and the Angirases the striving displayed the generous childlike strength. Brihaspati, with his hymns, gave abundant cows; men pressed forward with swift flowing praises.
When the search was set on foot by Indra and the Aṅgirasas, Suramā secured food for her young; then Bṛhaspati slew the devourer and rescued the kine, and the gods, with the cattle, proclaimed their joy alouḍ
When Indra and the Angirases desired it, Sarama found provision for her offipring. Brhaspati cleft the mountain, found the cattle: the heroes shouted with the kine in triumph.
