We offer this like a portion among the chiefs, bearing the armful with these prayers. With chosen words and auspicious utterances may they strengthen the hero and increase his might.

I offer with my mouth a loud acclamation, with powerful and pure words of praise, to exalt him who is the type (of all), the giver (of good things), the great, the wise.

To him then with my lips mine adoration, winning heaven's light, most excellent, I offer, To magnify with songs of invocation and with fair hymns the Lord, most bounteous Giver.
