ime ta indra te vayaṃ puruṣṭuta ye tvārabhya carāmasi prabhūvaso nahi tvadanyo girvaṇo giraḥ saghatkṣoṇīriva prati no harya tadvacaḥ
These, O Indra, are your praised ones, the Purushthutas, who have set you in motion and made you puissant. There is no other voice like your praised speech; may that word bring us prosperity.
Much-lauded and most opulent Indra, we are thy, who, relying (on your favour), approach you; accepter of praise, no other than you receie our commendations; be plural ased (with our address), as the earth (cherishes) her creatures.
Thine, Indra, praised by many, excellently rich! are we who trusting in thy help draw near to thee. Lover of praise, none else but thou receives our laud: as earth loves all her creatures, love thou this our hymn.
