dānāya manaḥ somapāvannastu te'rvāñcā harī vandanaśrudā kṛdhi yamiṣṭhāsaḥ sārathayo ya indra te na tvā ketā ā dabhnuvanti bhūrṇayaḥ
For gift-giving, may the mind be offered soma; praise, reverence, ear and deed be made fruitful. Charioteers and drivers who are yours—none of them will overcome you; they attain offspring.
Drinker of Soma, may your mind incline to grant our desires; hearer of praises, let your coursers be present (at our sacrifice); your charioteers are skillful in restraining (your steeds); nor, Indra, can crafty (enemies) bearing arms prevail against you.
Drinker of Soma, let thy heart incline to give; bring thy Bays hitherward, O thou who hearest praise. Those charioteers of' thine, best skilled to draw the rein, the rapid sunbeams, Indra, lead thee not astray.
