Do not in this house, O generous one, laugh scornfully at me; within you there is not the death of breath. Do not shout aloud, nor break into weeping; how shall I not be terrified by formidable foes?
Urge us not, Maghavan, to this iniquity, to these iniquitous conflicts, for the limit of your strength is not to be surpassed; you have made the waters of the rivers roar; how (is it possible) that the earth should be filled with terror?
URGE us not, Maghavan, to this distressful fight, for none may comprehend the limit of thy strength. Thou with fierce shout hast made the woods and rivers roar: did not men run in crowds together in their fear?
