ह्र॒दं न हि त्वा॑ न्यृ॒षन्त्यू॒र्मयो॒ ब्रह्मा॑णीन्द्र॒ तव॒ यानि॒ वर्ध॑ना । त्वष्टा॑ चित्ते॒ युज्यं॑ वावृधे॒ शव॑स्त॒तक्ष॒ वज्र॑म॒भिभू॑त्योजसम्
hradaṃ na hi tvā nyṛṣantyūrmayo brahmāṇīndra tava yāni vardhanā tvaṣṭā citte yujyaṃ vāvṛdhe śavastatakṣa vajramabhibhūtyojasam
They do not set you, indeed, in a heartless fashion, O Brahman Indra; those things of yours which increase are to be praised. Tvaṣṭṛ fashioned the mind that aided the hosts; he endowed the bolt with might and clothed it with radiance and vigor.
The hymns, Indra, that glorify you, attain unto you, as rivulets (flow into) a lake. Tvaṣṭā has augmented your appropriate vigour; he has sharpened your bolt with overpowering might.
The hymns which magnify thee, Indra, reach to thee even as water-brooks flow down and fill the lake. Tvastar gave yet more force to thine appropriate strength, and forged thy thunderbolt of overpowering might.
