Know now the Aryas and the other Dasyus; with bark and fat you restrain vow-breakers. Be the sustainer, O lord, of the sacrificer; all the wise are made fit by you in sacred rites.

Discriminate between the Āryas and they who are Dasyus; restraining those who perform no religious rites, compel them to submit to the performer of sacrifices; be you, who are powerful, the encourager of the sacrificer; I am desirous of celebrating all your deeds in ceremonies that give you satisfaction.

Discern thou well Aryas and Dasyus; punishing the lawless give them up to him whose grass is strewn. Be thou the sacrificer's strong encourager all these thy deeds are my delight at festivals.
