tvamapāmapidhānāvṛṇorapādhārayaḥ parvate dānumadvasu vṛtraṃ yadindra śavasāvadhīrahimāditsūryaṃ divyārohayo dṛśe
You clothed the waters and bound the fastenings; you placed supports on the mountain for Danu’s wealth. If Vritra had slain Indra’s breath, the sun’s divine risings would be seen and manifest.
You have opened the receptacle of the waters; you have detained in the mountain the treasure of the malignant; when you had slain Vṛtra, the destryer, you made the sun visible in the sky.
Thou hast unclosed the prisons of the waters; thou hast in the mountain seized the treasure rich in gifts. When thou hadst slain with might the dragon Vrtra, thou, Indra, didst raise the Sun in heaven for all to see.
