विश्व॑मस्या नानाम॒ चक्ष॑से॒ जग॒ज्ज्योति॑ष्कृणोति सू॒नरी॑ । अप॒ द्वेषो॑ म॒घोनी॑ दुहि॒ता दि॒व उ॒षा उ॑च्छ॒दप॒ स्रिधः॑
viśvamasyā nānāma cakṣase jagajjyotiṣkṛṇoti sūnarī apa dveṣo maghonī duhitā diva uṣā ucchadapa sridhaḥ
She has beheld all the worlds in various ways, making the world radiant, O brave one. The strong one poured forth no hatred; the milch-giver of riches, Dawn lifted her fleece in the sky.
All living beings adore her, that she may be visible; bringer of good, she lights up the world; the affluent daughter of heaven drives away the malevolent and disperses the absorbers (of moisture).
To meet her glance all living creatures bend them down: Excellent One, she makes the light. Usas, the Daughter of the Sky, the opulent, shines foes and enmities away.
