vi yā sṛjati samanaṃ vya1rthinaḥ padaṃ na vetyodatī vayo nakiṣṭe paptivāṃsa āsate vyuṣṭau vājinīvati
She who creates the ritual hymn (saman) — though made by one who is unworthy — does not cast away the step; when the two (forces) fall upon the lowest, she sits, spreading like a resolute charger.
She animates the diligent, and sends clients (to their patrons); and shedder of dews, knows not delay; bestower of food, at your rising the soaring birds no longer suspend (their flight).
She sends the busy forth, each man to his pursuit: delay she knows not as she springs. O rich in opulence, after thy dawning birds that have flown forth no longer rest.
