उषो॒ वाजं॒ हि वंस्व॒ यश्चि॒त्रो मानु॑षे॒ जने॑ । तेना व॑ह सु॒कृतो॑ अध्व॒राँ उप॒ ये त्वा॑ गृ॒णन्ति॒ वह्न॑यः
uṣo vājaṃ hi vaṃsva yaścitro mānuṣe jane tenā vaha sukṛto adhvarām̐ upa ye tvā gṛṇanti vahnayaḥ
Dawn indeed is the beam and the ornament of human beings. By her, the well-done (ritual) carries the paths; they who invoke you, O flames, praise you.
Uṣas, accept the (sacrificial) food which of many kinds exists among the human race, and thereby bring to the ceremony the pious, who offering oblations, praise you.
O Usas, win thyself the strength which among men is wonderful. Bring thou thereby the pious unto holy rites, those who as priests sing praise to thee.
