patirhyadhvarāṇāmagne dūto viśāmasi uṣarbudha ā vaha somapītaye devām̐ adya svardṛśaḥ
O Agni, you are indeed envoy of the household-lords; bring near the soma-drink for drinking. Today, visible among the gods, you come truly as the lord who sees.
You, Agni, are the protector of the sacrifices of the people, and the messenger (of the gods); bring hither today the gods awaking at dawn, and contemplating the sun, to drink the Soma juice.
For, Agni, Lord of sacrifice and messenger of men art thou: Bring thou the Gods who wake at dawn who see the light, this day to drink the Soma juice.
