Let not the herd-mares of yours be consumed by death among the old; let them follow the path of Yama the herdsman.

Never may your worshipper be indifferent to you, as a deer (is never indifferent) to pasture, so that he may not tread the path of Yama.

Then never were your praiser loathed like a wild beast in pasture-land, Nor should he go on Yama's path.
