O Savita, who, moving in black dust, sets immortal and mortal beings in place with his golden chariot; the god who, seeing the worlds, goes by his chariot.
Revolving through the darkened firmament, arousing mortal and immortal, the divine Savitā travels in his golden chariot, beholding the (several) worlds.
Throughout the dusky firmament advancing, laying to rest the immortal and the mortal, Borne in his golden chariot he cometh, Savitar, God who looks on every creature.
