Let not the shaft-loving warrior, eager for spoil, mount against all with hostile will; Indra, consuming many, do not let us be too poor—grant us increase of strength and hands abundant for us.
The commander fo the whole host has bound his quiver (on his back); the lord drives the cattle (to the dwelling) of whom he plural ases. Mighty Indra, bestowing upon us abundant wealth, take not advantage of us like a dealer.
Mid all his host, he bindeth on the quiver he driveth cattle from what foe he pleaseth: Gathering up great store of riches, Indra. be thou no trafficker with us, most mighty.
