I approach the wealth of gifts, clothed and undeceived; I seek not the abode of the swift bird. Hailing Indra with hymns and oblations, he who is praised has the sacrificial fire that leads the way.
I fly, like a hawk to its cherished nest, to that Indra who is to be invoked by his worshipper in battle, glorifying with excellent hymns, him who is invincible and the giver of wealth.
I fly to him invisible Wealth-giver as flies the falcon to his cherished eyrie, With fairest hymns of praise adoring Indra, whom those who laud him must invoke in battle.
