अह॒न्नहिं॒ पर्व॑ते शिश्रिया॒णं त्वष्टा॑स्मै॒ वज्रं॑ स्व॒र्यं॑ ततक्ष । वा॒श्रा इ॑व धे॒नवः॒ स्यन्द॑माना॒ अञ्जः॑ समु॒द्रमव॑ जग्मु॒रापः॑
ahannahiṃ parvate śiśriyāṇaṃ tvaṣṭāsmai vajraṃ svaryaṃ tatakṣa vāśrā iva dhenavaḥ syandamānā añjaḥ samudramava jagmurāpaḥ
On that day, upon the snowy mountain, Tvashtar made for him a bolt, a golden thunder; thus the streams like cows shedding their milk went forth — the waters advanced and met the sea.
He clove the cloud, seeking refuge on the mountain; Tvaṣṭa) sharpened his far-whirling bolt; the flowing waters quickly hastened to the ocean, like cows (hastening) to their calves.
He slew the Dragon lying on the mountain: his heavenly bolt of thunder Tvastar fashioned. Like lowing kine in rapid flow descending the waters glided downward to the ocean.
