Indra and Angiras, Agni, among men the Angiras moves forth to the ancient, purified dwelling. Bring down that divine birth, set it in order with the holy hymn; grant it favour and graciousness.
Pure Agni, who goes about (to receive oblations), go in your presence to the halll of sacrifice, as did Manu, and Aṅgiras, and Yayāti, and others of old; bring hither the divine person nages, seat them on the sacred grass, and offer them grateful (sacrifice).
As erst to Manus, to Yayiti, Angiras, so Angiras! pure Agni! come thou to our hall Bring hither the celestial host and seat them here upon the sacred grass, and offer what they love.
