There is no dominion of yours that does not reach them; neither strength nor host restrained them, the waters moved without pause when winds did not lessen them.

These birds, that are flying (through the air), have not obtained, Varuṇa, your bodily strength or your prowess, or (are able to endure your) wrath; neither do these waters that flow increasingly, nor (do the gales) of wind, surpass your speed.

Ne'er have those birds that fly through air attained to thy high dominion or thy might or spirit; Nor these the waters that flow on for ever, nor hills, abaters of the wind's wild fury.
