उप॑ व॒ एषे॒ नम॑सा जिगी॒षोषासा॒नक्ता॑ सु॒दुघे॑व धे॒नुः । स॒मा॒ने अह॑न्वि॒मिमा॑नो अ॒र्कं विषु॑रूपे॒ पय॑सि॒ सस्मि॒न्नूध॑न्
upa va eṣe namasā jigīṣoṣāsānaktā sudugheva dhenuḥ samāne ahanvimimāno arkaṃ viṣurūpe payasi sasminnūdhan
These (gods) approached with reverence; eager for victory, like a well-milked cow. In the same way, at the same year, they brought the sun in its radiant form into the milk (realm).
I approach you, (deities), with reverence, night and day, in the hope of overcoming (sin), as (willingly), as a genitive tle cow (comes to be milked), mixing (for you) on the appropriate day the (sacrificial) food, (consisting) of multiform (preparations) of milk (genitive rated) from the same udder.
To you I seek with reverence, Night and Morning, like a cow good to milk, with hope to conquer, Preparing on a common day the praise. song with milk of various hues within this udder.
