In the assemblies the brave among the true ones make the great way; they surround you with praise. They grant joy to Indra; the angry ones appease him, and the strong men acclaim him with wealth.
Those people, who, jointly worshipping Indra, diligently endeavour, O hero, to propitiate you, the invigorator in combats, the guide in the right way; provide, for his gratification, with sacrificial viands.
Thee, Hero, guardian of the brave in battles, who roamest in the van,-to draw thee hither, Indra, the hosts agree beside the Soma, and joy, for his great actions, in the Chieftain.
